Landmar Hotels Renews Great Place to Work® Certification for 2025-2026
Landmar Hotels has once again achieved Great Place to Work® certification for 2025-2026, highlighting its commitment to an excellent employee experience and positive workplace culture.
Landmar Hotels has once again been certified as a Great Place to Work® for 2025-2026. This international award recognizes companies with excellent work environments, based on what employees actually experience. A recent survey showed that 84% of Landmar Hotels staff believe it's a great place to work. The trust among their teams scored 76%, which is much higher than the national average of 57%.
To get this certification, an independent assessment of the company's workplace culture is done. This includes a confidential survey called the Trust Index®, which employees answer voluntarily and anonymously. This year's results show a big improvement in the work environment at Landmar Hotels. Employees are more involved, feel prouder to be part of the company, and are more likely to recommend it to others – all signs of strong team commitment.
Landmar Hotels staff especially value the positive atmosphere, teamwork, respectful interactions, and the trust their managers place in them. They also appreciate the high-quality service they provide to guests. A high 88% of employees are proud to work for the company. The same percentage believes guests would rate their service as excellent, highlighting how employee happiness directly leads to a better experience for visitors.
Landmar Hotels believes that people are at the heart of the tourism experience. Juan Pedro Marrero, the Director of People at Landmar Hotels, explains, "At Landmar Hotels, people aren't just part of our success; they are the reason it happens." He adds that while buildings, technology, and new ideas are important, they don't guarantee success on their own. "It's people who make the real difference, turning a simple service into an unforgettable experience. Our motto, 'Passion for People,' shows our strong belief that the human touch is essential and truly sets us apart. Our team and our business don't compete; they strengthen each other."
This approach means management focuses on the overall well-being of its teams. They see looking after their staff not just as a way to create a good work environment, but as a key strategy for excellent service, long-term business success, and standing out in the tourism industry. Landmar Hotels is committed to several key areas for its employees: job security, fair pay, a safe workplace, opportunities for career growth, listening to feedback, and building strong, consistent leadership. All these efforts aim to put people – including guests, partners, and staff – at the very core of the company.
Juan Pedro Marrero concludes, "Renewing our Great Place to Work® certification confirms our dedication to a company culture built on trust, employee well-being, and constant improvement. We are committed to a growth strategy that values talent and pride in working here. These are crucial for us to offer high-quality, sustainable, and unique tourism experiences."
