La Taberna Coliseo to Host All-You-Can-Eat Roman Feast in Arona on May 17
La Taberna Coliseo in Arona is hosting an all-you-can-eat Roman-themed event on May 17th, featuring traditional amatriciana pasta and supplì for 15 euros per person.
The dining scene in southern Tenerife is becoming more diverse as restaurants lean into regional specialties. According to content creator @elsiciliano_tenerife, the latest addition to this trend is La Taberna Coliseo in Arona. To celebrate its opening, the restaurant is hosting a special event on May 17th dedicated to two staples of Lazio cuisine: amatriciana pasta and supplì.
For 15 euros per person (excluding drinks), guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of these two dishes. The restaurant aims to attract diners looking for authentic Roman flavors, prepared to traditional Italian standards. The menu features classic amatriciana—made with tomato, pecorino cheese, and guanciale—served alongside supplì, the traditional Italian rice balls filled with molten cheese.
Located at Carretera General TF-66, number 183, La Taberna Coliseo is open daily from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Because this is a one-time event, management recommends booking a table in advance to guarantee a spot.
This event highlights a growing trend of themed dining experiences in Arona, moving away from the generic tourist menus often found in the area. With decor inspired by classical Rome, the restaurant hopes to transport diners directly to the heart of Italy.
