Police have identified teenage suspects in a violent assault on La Palma, where a young person was attacked by a group, including several girls, with a video of the incident circulating online.

A young person was violently attacked by other teenagers on the island of La Palma in late October.

The incident, which is currently being investigated, took place on October 23rd near the container port in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The victim was subjected to insults and taunts by a large group of teenagers. They were then pushed to the ground and physically assaulted with kicks, punches, and hair pulling.

A video of the attack has circulated on social media in recent weeks, showing the blows being delivered.

Notably, a significant part of the assault was carried out by other girls who surrounded the victim. The rest of the young people present encouraged them to continue the attack.

The National Police have stated that the individuals believed to be responsible for the assault have been identified.

However, as of now, the victim's parents have not filed a formal complaint with the police in Santa Cruz de La Palma, according to sources close to the case.
