La Oreja de Van Gogh returns to the Canary Islands for the first time in two decades as part of their 30th-anniversary tour, featuring a highly anticipated reunion with original vocalist Amaia Montero.

La Oreja de Van Gogh has returned to the Canary Islands for the first time in 20 years, marking a major moment for Spanish pop music. As part of their Tantas cosas que contar 2026 tour, the band is celebrating 30 years together, featuring the highly anticipated reunion of Amaia Montero with bandmates Álvaro Fuentes, Xabi San Martín, and Haritz Garde.

The band’s enduring popularity highlights their ability to connect with different generations. Classics like "Rosas" and "La playa" remain staples of popular culture, proving that their music has stood the test of time despite changes in how people listen to music today. With a career defined by massive record sales and consistent streaming success, the group is performing two major shows in the archipelago: following their concert at the Gran Canaria Stadium annex, they will perform tonight, Saturday, at 9:00 p.m. at the Adeje Football Field in Tenerife.

The tour is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, the Canary Institute of Cultural Development, local island councils, and the city councils of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Adeje. Private sponsors, including Fred. Olsen Express, Cajasiete, and Archipiélago Renting, have also helped make these performances possible. This tour not only brings the band back to the islands but also reaffirms their status as a powerhouse in the music industry, drawing in both long-time fans and new listeners who have discovered their music in the digital age.
