The day concludes with the charity K-Kids race, also at 4:00 PM. On Sunday, runners will tackle the K21, which begins at 9:30 AM, and the main event, the K42, starting at 9:00 AM from La Laguna's Plaza del Cristo.

Speakers at the presentation included Badel Albelo, president of the Autonomous Sports Organization (OAD); Yolanda Moliné, Sports Councilor for the Cabildo de Tenerife; and Isidro Casanova, the race director.

Badel Albelo opened the presentation for what is one of La Laguna's most important sporting events. With over 2,600 participants from 35 countries, the marathon continues to solidify its reputation as a top international event. Albelo stated, "This edition promises a vibrant atmosphere from the very first moment. Set in the stunning Anaga Rural Park, each section offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the surroundings. This not only improves the sporting experience but also shows our strong dedication to sustainability and environmental conservation."

Yolanda Moliné added that the K42 Canarias Anaga Marathon "has already established itself as one of the best trail running events, both for its comprehensive nature and the incredible location in which it is held." The Sports Councilor congratulated "the promoter, along with the organizers and collaborators, for their excellent work in making these events so outstanding."

Finally, Isidro Casanova spoke, thanking the institutions and sponsors for their support. "The La Laguna City Council has been the main supporter and promoter of the event for 15 years, ever since we started. I also want to highlight the support of the Cabildo, which has backed this race. Furthermore, the Tegueste City Council is joining us by hosting the K3."

About the races, Casanova explained that they offer "a three-day competition with events for all skill levels." He noted that "100 runners will participate in all three days and will be able to experience every aspect of the K42. We also have participants of different nationalities, and from the beginning, there has always been a commitment to attracting world-class elite runners. This year will be no exception."
