La Laguna Strengthens Communities With February Program
La Laguna is launching a comprehensive community program in February across 47 community centers, offering diverse activities to foster local engagement and personal growth.
La Laguna is stepping up its efforts to improve local communities with a big program this February, held in its community centers. The Citizen Participation department says this plan is key to building a stronger community across the whole area, offering education and fun activities to everyone in all its neighborhoods and towns.
The program will take place in 47 different locations across the municipality. It was created with local groups working closely together, aiming to get residents more involved in their local areas. Fran Hernández, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, stressed how important these centers are for local life. He emphasized that the goal is to bring chances for personal growth and community building to every part of La Laguna.
There's a wide range of activities for physical well-being, including pilates, yoga, functional training, tai chi, and zumba. There's also a strong focus on helping older people stay active, with special workshops designed to keep minds sharp. Culture is also a big part of this month's schedule, along with digital skills training.
