La Laguna is getting ready for another "La Noche en Blanco" (White Night) this Saturday, November 29th. This special event will run non-stop from 10:00 AM until early morning, filling the historic center with shopping, heritage displays, music, culture, sports, and family fun.

Organizers expect almost a hundred activities spread across 30 different spots in the old town. As usual, the event kicks off the Christmas shopping season.

The program includes international performances, family-friendly fun, sports, food events, and efforts to boost local businesses.

You can expect dance and theater shows, workshops for kids, dedicated sports areas, city markets, and community spaces. To make your day easier, lockers will be available throughout the historic quarter so you can store your shopping and keep enjoying the festivities.

To help everyone get around and stay safe, there will be "Violet Points" and "Orange Points" set up. Clear signs will also guide you to parking, bus stops, tram stations, and taxi ranks.

Early activities will kick off in places like Placita La Retama, the Casa Mesa urban markets on Obispo Rey Redondo, Constitution Park, the festive food area "Chocoland: The Christmas Plaza" in Antonio Mederos Sosa square, and the Canary Market Place in Camino Largo.

You'll find the lockers for your purchases on Obispo Rey Redondo.

Concepción Square will be a main hub, hosting the official opening, a photo booth at the Torreón de la Luz, LNB Radio Central, and a mobile radio station that will travel around the old town.

Music will fill the air with concerts happening all over the historic quarter. During the day, the group Las Migas will perform at the Torre de La Concepción. Later, Seguridad Social will headline the main night concert in Plaza del Cristo.

You can find more music stages in Hermano Ramón Square, Víctor Zurita Square, Leal Theater, Orfeón La Paz, and various streets. Local groups, traditional rondallas, other musical ensembles, and roaming performers will all be part of the show.

San Agustín street will become a sports hub, offering basketball, volleyball, simulators, virtual reality experiences, Canarian wrestling, climbing, chess, fitness activities, urban dance, and dedicated areas for children and teenagers.

Families can enjoy creative workshops, storytelling sessions, inclusive activities, and special events at museums and cultural centers. Don't miss "City of Stories" at the old convent of Santo Domingo, the inclusive workshops in Plaza de los Ilustradores, and children's entertainment featuring roaming characters.

The arts will be well represented with street theater, dance, and parades taking place in areas like Plaza del Adelantado, Plaza Junta Suprema, Plaza Catedral, Plaza Doctor Olivera, and Carrera street.

Look out for "Olympics" by the Yllana company, along with breakdance shows, lindy hop workshops, and various roaming performance groups throughout the old town.

Heraclio Sánchez street will host a "Citizen Engagement Space" from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Here, under the theme "Come and get to know the Citizen Centers," you can see some of the workshops and projects that these local community centers run all year long.
