La Laguna City Council in Tenerife has reintroduced its free gift-wrapping service this December and early January across various districts to support local businesses and enhance the Christmas shopping experience.

La Laguna City Council in Tenerife has brought back its free gift-wrapping service this December. This initiative, part of the 2025 Christmas season, is a joint effort with the La Laguna Zona Comercial (LLZC) Business Association and FAUCA, and will be available in various districts.

The service was available on December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, and will continue on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th. It operates daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, according to a statement from the City Council.

You can find these wrapping stations at El Ramal square in Tejina, José Hernández Arocha square in Taco, El Tranvía square in La Cuesta, and Cathedral square in the historic center.

Estefanía Díaz, the Councillor for Commerce, explained that this service is part of a wider effort during the Christmas season to support local businesses and make the town's shopping areas more attractive. She added that the goal is to make shopping easier and provide an extra service that improves the experience for families who choose La Laguna for their Christmas gifts.

This Christmas wrapping service is part of La Laguna's overall 2025 Christmas program. This joint plan by the City Council and local businesses aims to encourage people to shop locally, support small and medium-sized businesses, and establish open-air shopping areas as convenient, easy-to-reach, and appealing places for everyone.
