La Laguna Postpones Christmas Square Events Amid Weather Alert
La Laguna's Christmas Square events, including the "New Year's Laughter" comedy show, have been postponed from Friday, January 2, to Tuesday, January 6, due to a weather alert.
All events planned for this Friday, January 2, at La Laguna's Christmas Square have been postponed because of a weather alert.
The city's festival department said they made this decision to keep everyone safe during the bad weather. The postponement affects all events scheduled for Friday at the Plaza del Cristo.
This includes the comedy show 'New Year's Laughter,' featuring Darío López and Kike Pérez, which has been moved to a new date. The City Council promises "laughter is guaranteed."
The show will now take place on Tuesday, January 6, at 8:30 PM, still at La Laguna's Christmas Square (Plaza del Cristo).
Organizers added that moving the date will let them "provide a grand finale" to the Christmas celebrations once the weather gets better.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th to bid farewell to Christmas!"
