La Bien Querida to Perform at CajaCanarias Foundation in Tenerife This Friday
The CajaCanarias Foundation will host Spanish indie pop artist La Bien Querida this Friday at its Cultural Space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife as part of the "Spring at the Foundation 2026" program.
The CajaCanarias Foundation continues to strengthen the Canary Islands' cultural scene this week with its "Spring at the Foundation 2026" program. This Friday, the foundation will host a performance by Ana Fernández-Villaverde, widely known as La Bien Querida.
The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. at the foundation’s Cultural Space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It offers a chance to see a key figure in Spanish independent pop, whose career has evolved significantly since her 2009 debut, Romancero. Over the years, she has successfully blended electronic sounds with traditional influences while maintaining a unique musical style.
The Bilbao-born artist arrives in Tenerife during a period of creative maturity, following the recent release of her 2025 album, LBQ. Critics have described the record as a return to her roots, combining introspective lyrics about daily life with catchy, accessible melodies. Her ability to connect with listeners through personal storytelling has been a defining feature of her work on previous albums, including Fiesta, Ceremonia, Fuego, Brujería, and Paprika.
Tickets for the event are available through the official website, www.cajacanarias.com. By bringing established artists from the Spanish alternative scene to the islands, the Foundation continues its commitment to enriching the region's cultural offerings.
