Kora Tigot Opens Sustainable Luxury Resort in South Tenerife
Kora Tigot, an 88-apartment complex offering a high-quality, sustainable tourism option focused on comfort and community, has opened in San Miguel de Abona, South Tenerife.
South Tenerife now offers a new high-quality tourism option with the opening of Kora Tigot. This complex of 88 apartments, located in San Miguel de Abona, is designed to give guests a unique experience focused on enjoyment, comfort, and a sense of community.
Developed by the Basque company Kategora, the project was designed by the well-known Tenerife architectural firm Makin Molowny Portela. This firm is nationally recognized for its precise work, respect for the environment, and focus on human needs.
Kora Tigot, Kora Living's latest resort, blends seamlessly into the landscape. It's built to fit the natural terrain and respect the island's character. The resort offers shared spaces for guests to relax and socialize, including a spa, gym, kids' club, coworking area, and restaurant. At its heart are large swimming pools and a sunbathing area, surrounded by local plants that create a private, natural feel.
Its interior design draws inspiration from the Canary Islands. The sustainable architecture helps guests unwind from daily life while still enjoying modern comforts.
Kora Tigot's one and two-bedroom apartments are fully equipped. They all have large terraces with wide-ranging views of the southern mountains, the sea, or the resort's gardens and pools. Makin Molowny Portela has thought of every detail to ensure comfort, practicality, and beauty, making every stay special. The buildings are designed and positioned smartly to use local materials, which helps reduce their environmental impact and carbon footprint. Energy-saving features, both active and passive, cut down on energy use and emissions, protecting Tenerife's delicate environment.
This isn't the first time Makin Molowny Portela has worked with Kategora. They previously designed Kora Nivaria Beach, a 122-apartment complex in Abades, Arico. This project helped them refine their approach, which blends innovation, sustainability, and careful attention to detail. Once again, the firm has shown its skill in creating spaces that combine technical accuracy, excellent architecture, and a well-thought-out living experience. This confirms their dedication to sustainable, high-quality tourism in Tenerife.
