Kike Pérez Marks 20th Anniversary with New Satirical Show 'HUMOr'
Comedian Kike Pérez is celebrating his 20th career anniversary with the launch of his new satirical show, HUMOr, while simultaneously expanding his presence in television and upcoming collaborative projects.
Kike Pérez has reached a major milestone in his career with the debut of his new show, HUMOr. Marking his 20th anniversary on stage, the Arrecife-born comedian uses satire to examine today’s world, tackling issues like digital misinformation, polarization, and the decline of journalistic standards. He describes the show as a form of shared catharsis, inviting his audience to reflect on the current state of society.
The tour, produced by the award-winning Multitrack and supported by the Canary Islands Institute of Cultural Development and Cicar, has a busy schedule ahead. He will perform at the Juan Carlos I Auditorium in Arafo this Saturday at 8:00 p.m., with tickets starting at 18 euros. On Sunday, March 22, he heads to the Tías Municipal Theater; due to high demand, the original 8:00 p.m. show is sold out, so an additional performance has been added at 6:00 p.m. His tour continues on March 27 at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Beyond the stage, Pérez is expanding his work into new audiovisual projects. He is currently appearing in El ambulatorio, a series for Televisión Canaria directed by David Sainz and starring Carmen Ruiz. He is also collaborating with fellow comedian Goyo Jiménez on a new project set to launch later this year.
This busy period highlights Pérez’s established role in the Canary Islands' cultural scene. By using humor to question the reliability of online content, he has become a key voice in entertainment, proving that comedy can be a powerful tool for critical social observation.
