Jet2 Tenerife Flight: Crew Assaulted in Onboard Fight
A Jet2 flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife South was granted priority landing by air traffic controllers after a fight on board resulted in a cabin crew member being assaulted, prompting a request for medical and police assistance.
Another incident occurred on a flight heading to Tenerife. Air traffic controllers, posting on their official X social media account, confirmed it was a Jet2 flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife South.
As the plane approached Tenerife airport, the crew requested medical assistance and police after a fight broke out on board. During the fight, a cabin crew member was reportedly assaulted.
To help the plane land, controllers gave it maximum priority for approach and coordinated ground assistance with the airport.
