The GF Gran Costa Adeje hotel is hosting a solo exhibition by Jesús Rodríguez Falcón through July 20th, featuring photography that explores the intersection of mathematical geometry and the natural landscapes of the Canary Islands.

A new cultural exhibition has arrived in the south of Tenerife, blending the precision of science with the beauty of the landscape. As part of the Atlántico Sonoro Festival, the GF Gran Costa Adeje hotel is hosting a solo exhibition by Jesús Rodríguez Falcón, which will be open to the public until July 20th.

The exhibition is unique because of the artist’s background. Rodríguez Falcón, a professional in mathematics and chess education, uses his expertise in geometry and spatial calculation to capture the natural environment of the Canary Islands. His photography goes beyond simple documentation, aiming to reveal the hidden patterns and symmetries within the landscape to offer viewers a fresh perspective.

This event is organized by the production company Cauproges as part of the Atlántico Sonoro Festival. It is supported by a wide range of organizations, including the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of La Gomera, the Vallehermoso City Council, the Icod de los Vinos City Council, and the Silbo Gomero Cultural Association. This collaboration is part of a wider effort to bring diverse cultural experiences to different parts of the islands.

The exhibition reflects a growing trend of bringing thoughtful, analytical art into tourist spaces, allowing both locals and visitors to see the Canarian landscape through a more intellectual lens. Admission is free, offering everyone the chance to explore this dialogue between the logic of mathematics and the beauty of nature.
