Jairo Martín, a talented musician from Tenerife, will be performing at the old Convent of Santo Domingo in La Laguna this Saturday at 8:00 PM. He'll be showcasing his new album, "Bailar los domingos," released this year.
Joining him on stage will be Los Chicos del Coro, a band he frequently performs with across the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. The album itself features ten new tracks. Jairo, who hails from Icod, co-produced the album with Kike Eizaguirre and Iván Domínguez, his long-time collaborators from El Escondite studio in Madrid.
"Bailar los domingos" explores a range of musical styles, a characteristic of Jairo Martín's work, though always with a strong base in Spanish rock. His concerts are known for mixing music with poetry, humor with tenderness, and the energy of rock with the personal touch of a singer-songwriter. You can expect to hear influences from pop, tango, and cabaret, all contributing to the rich and varied sound of this artist from Icod de los Vinos.
