Iván Ferreiro is entering a new phase of artistic refinement, which he will bring to the Tenerife Music Festival stage on June 13th. As reported by Diario de Avisos, the Vigo-born musician joins a lineup that includes Camilo, Pablo Alborán, and Ana Mena at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Canary Islands have become a regular stop for Ferreiro, who views the archipelago as a welcome escape from his busy professional schedule.

This season, Ferreiro has evolved his stage presence significantly. After years of using complex electronic instruments in his live shows, he has shifted to a minimalist approach that focuses entirely on his vocals. He describes this change as a "physical liberation," allowing him to move more easily between theater shows, festivals, and acoustic performances.

Condensing a 35-year career—from his early days with Los Piratas to his recent album Hoy x Ayer—has required a difficult process of elimination. Ferreiro explained that he had to cut an initial four-hour setlist in half to create his current show. The final selection, which features classics like Turnedo alongside new collaborations with artists such as Sole Giménez, reflects a period of maturity that he considers a high point in his career.
