Injured Man Rescued from Tenerife Ravine
A man was rescued by emergency services on Wednesday from a ravine in La Guancha, Tenerife, after being heard shouting for help, and was subsequently hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Emergency services (Cecoes 1-1-2) reported that a man was rescued on Wednesday from a ravine in La Guancha, Tenerife, near the El Desrriscadero gallery.
The alarm was raised around 9:02 AM. Someone called 1-1-2 after hearing a man shouting for help from the bottom of a ravine, though they couldn't see him. Cecoes quickly sent emergency teams to the scene.
Firefighters and environmental staff arrived and found the man hidden in thick bushes at the bottom of the ravine. The Canarian Emergency Service then treated the man, who had several moderate injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Hospital del Norte.
Local Police also helped with the rescue.
