Inaugural Summer Pop Tenerife Festival Set for September 13 Debut

The Canary Islands music scene is gearing up for a major new event on September 13th. Organizers have announced that the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Trade Fair and Congress Center will host the inaugural Summer Pop Tenerife festival, an event designed to become a staple of the local cultural calendar by blending national stars with homegrown talent.

The festival’s main draw is its exclusive lineup. Producer Enrique Camacho and his team have confirmed that many of the featured artists—including Álvaro de Luna, Leire Martínez, Ruslana, La Pantera, and Lucho RK—will be performing in the Canary Islands only once this year. By mixing commercial pop, urban music, and electronic styles, the festival aims to appeal to a wide range of music fans.

The event promises more than just a standard concert series. Renowned Spanish radio personality Tony Aguilar will host the day, using a live radio format to keep the energy high. This approach is intended to create an immersive experience where music, audience interaction, and DJ sets flow together into one continuous show.

The organizers are also putting a spotlight on regional talent. Artists such as Playacoco, Melania, Mel Ömana, Postcode, Fátima Falcón, and Dellacruz will share the stage with national headliners, highlighting the strength of the local music scene. The full lineup also includes performances by Danny Romero, Locoplaya, Lewis Potter, and Christian Cuervo.

Supported by various public and private partners, the festival doors will open at 3:00 PM, with six hours of non-stop entertainment beginning at 4:00 PM.
