The Circle of Spanish Series Professionals has announced the nominees for the inaugural Golden Ring Awards, with Anatomía de un instante leading the field ahead of the June 20 ceremony in Tenerife.

The Spanish audiovisual industry is launching a new standard for creative excellence this year. The Circle of Spanish Series Professionals has officially announced the nominees for the inaugural Golden Ring Awards, which will be held on June 20 at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center.

The nominations, verified by notary Juan Luis Nieto de Magriñá at an event in Madrid, show Anatomía de un instante leading the pack with 15 nominations. Other top contenders include Querer with eight mentions, La vida breve and Yakarta with six each, and Superestar with five.

The awards feature 23 categories designed to honor every aspect of production, from acting to location management. The competition for Best Film Commission is particularly tight, with the Andalucía Film Commission, Film Madrid, and the Rías Baixas Film Commission all vying for the title.

In the acting categories, the nominees for Best Lead Actress are Nagore Aramburu (Querer), Carmen Machi (Celeste), and Esperanza Pedreño (Poquita Fe). The nominees for Best Lead Actor are Javier Cámara (Yakarta), Pedro Casablanc (Querer), and Álvaro Morte (Anatomía de un instante). The awards also recognize technical achievements, such as sound creation, where C. Tangana (Esta ambición desmedida) competes against Álex de Lucas and Raúl Santos (Superestar) and Juan Ibáñez (Los años nuevos).

These awards are part of a broader strategy to decentralize the industry and strengthen the "Spain" brand in television production. The initiative is supported by the Tenerife Island Council, the Government of the Canary Islands, and the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council. Lope Afonso, vice president of the Tenerife Island Council, noted that hosting the event in Tenerife is a strategic move to establish the archipelago as a major hub for the creative and audiovisual sector, which has become a vital economic and cultural driver for the country.
