HiperDino has completed a 1.5-million-euro renovation of its Fañabé store in Tenerife, modernizing the facility to enhance sustainability and the customer shopping experience.

HiperDino has finished a major renovation of its store in Fañabé, Adeje, Tenerife. The project, which began in mid-January, is part of the company’s ongoing effort to modernize its stores across the Canary Islands.

The 1.5-million-euro investment covered both the exterior of the building and the interior shopping area. The store now spans 931 square meters of sales space within a 1,235-square-meter facility, redesigned to improve efficiency and the overall customer experience. The new layout features dedicated sections for fresh produce, butchery, delicatessen, and bakery items, alongside expanded areas for wine, perfumery, frozen goods, and organic products.

The company’s construction team noted that the renovation aims to make the store more sustainable and efficient, while updating its look to match the bright, modern aesthetic of HiperDino’s newer locations.

Located on Calle Lanzarote, the store employs nearly 50 people and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This schedule is designed to serve both local residents and the high number of tourists in the area, with a strong focus on offering local, "zero-kilometer" products.

This renovation reflects HiperDino’s continued growth since its founding in 1985. Today, the company employs over 10,000 people and operates more than 293 stores, including a recent expansion into the Balearic Islands. Its operations are supported by four distribution centers, a dedicated online "dark store," and a network of DinoShop franchises in partnership with bp. Beyond retail, the company supports its staff and local communities through the DinoSol Foundation.
