Tenerife's Jorge Hernández triumphed at the Anaga Trail Solidaria 2025, a 15-kilometer charity race that saw 370 participants raise 2,220 euros for disadvantaged children.

Jorge Hernández, from Tenerife, won the main race at the Anaga Trail Solidaria 2025. This event has become one of the most anticipated on the island's calendar. Hernández finished the challenging 15-kilometer course, which included an uphill climb of nearly 900 meters, in one hour and 31 minutes. He showed great endurance and skill as he ran through some of the most famous parts of the Anaga Rural Park.

The 14th Anaga Trail Solidaria attracted 370 participants. While not a competitive race, everyone showed great dedication, combining their love for sport with a desire to help others. Their entry fees raised 2,220 euros for the Padre Laraña Association, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children. This event truly showed how sport can naturally bring people together for a good cause.

To make the event more inclusive, organizers also offered a shorter, easier route. This allowed casual runners and anyone who wanted to support the cause to take part without tackling the full, challenging course.

The Anaga Trail Solidaria has now cemented its place as a key event and tradition on the island. It's known as Tenerife's last mountain trail race of the year, bringing together nature, physical challenge, and a commitment to the community.

The event's success was also thanks to many partners and volunteers. These included the Santa Cruz Sostenible Foundation, the Santa Cruz City Council Sports Department, Civil Protection, Local Police, QRV, Emergencias Anaga, Gesport Canarias, Coca-Cola, the Anaga District of the City Council, and the Port Authority. Crucially, countless volunteers helped with logistics and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Once again, the Anaga Trail Solidaria 2025 proved that it's more than just a race. It's a gathering where sport and helping others come together, leaving a positive impact on the community and confirming its special place in Tenerife's sporting calendar.
