A free tour program is running in La Laguna until the end of September, introducing tourists to the city's history, nature, and culture.

There is a cool program for tourists in La Laguna until the end of September! The City Council has organized over 20 different excursions so you can rediscover this city. We will explore nature, history, learn about ecology, and participate in interesting activities.

The "Bajamar Water Route," "Punta del Hidalgo Route," and "Tourism with a Positive Impact" have already started. The first excursions were very popular, and the organizers promise many more interesting things in the coming weeks.

Estefanía Díaz, who is responsible for tourism, says that people are very interested: "The first excursions were completely full! This shows that people are interested in getting to know La Laguna in a different way. We will be able to see our history and nature up close, and this will also help local businesses."

What awaits us in the near future?

  • "Punta del Hidalgo Route": August 23, 30, and September 5, 12, 20, 26, 27.
  • "Bajamar Water Route": August 24, 29, 31, and September 5, 7, 14.
  • "Tourism with a Positive Impact":
    • "Between Puddles and Guanches" – August 24
    • "The Milkmaids' Path" – August 30
    • "World Heritage" – September 3
    • "Ecological Bajamar" – September 6

The "Bajamar Water Route" is a tour of interesting places on the coast, full of history and beautiful nature. There are options for families, tours in English, and for different groups. The "Punta del Hidalgo Route" will introduce you to the history, nature, and culture of this place. And "Tourism with a Positive Impact" includes walks through villages, the city, and the coast, as well as stargazing, trail cleaning, visits to eco-gardens, and tasting of local products.

Estefanía Díaz adds: "This is not just a walk, but a real adventure! You will feel a connection with history, nature, and local residents. We want you to learn something new, have good memories, and want to protect our city."

Participation in all events is free, but you need to register in advance on the website of the La Laguna Tourist Center.
