Halloween's just around the corner, so it's the perfect time for scary and fantastical movies! Get ready for new releases like Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" and the sequel to "Black Phone," hitting theaters alongside other films like the Bruce Springsteen biopic and "Los Domingos."

Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein," a fresh take on Mary Shelley's classic, is coming to cinemas before it streams online. The Oscar-winning director from Mexico brings his unique style to the story, with Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as the monster, and Mia Goth as Elizabeth. Del Toro puts his own spin on the tale of a man obsessed with cheating death, who pays a heavy price for his ambition.

Horror fans are eagerly waiting for "Black Phone 2," the follow-up to the 2022 hit. Scott Derrickson directs, and Blumhouse produces, with Ethan Hawke returning in a truly unsettling role. The story picks up four years after Finn escaped his kidnapper, as his sister Gwen starts receiving mysterious calls in her dreams from the old black phone.

Another new release is "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere," a biographical film about the legendary Bruce Springsteen. Starring Jeremy Allen White and directed by Scott Cooper, the film features a great soundtrack and striking visuals. It's a must-see for rock fans, telling the story of how Springsteen's iconic 1982 album "Nebraska," an acoustic and deeply personal work, came to be.

"Los Domingos," which won five awards at the San Sebastián Film Festival, including the top prize, is also arriving in theaters. Directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, it follows Ainara, a 17-year-old girl at a crossroads. Her family expects her to go to university, but she feels a strong calling to religion. The film stars Blanca Soroa, in her first role, alongside Patricia López Arnaiz, Miguel Garcés, and Juan Minujín.

Don't miss "Decorado," the latest animated film from Alberto Vázquez, the director of "Unicorn Wars." Known for his blend of satire, surrealism, and dark humor, Vázquez presents a thought-provoking story about social control and the fragile nature of human beliefs. The film follows Arnold, a mouse who begins to suspect his whole life is a lie, combining philosophical themes with stunning visuals. After winning an award at Fantastic Fest in Austin and appearing at festivals like Ottawa, Sitges, and the BFI in London, "Decorado" is shaping up to be one of the most daring and fascinating animated films of the year.

Anime enthusiasts will be excited for "The Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc," directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, continuing the popular series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. In this film, Denji, the young demon hunter who became Chainsaw Man after making a pact with his demon-dog Pochita, faces a mysterious Reze in a thrilling battle where survival and love clash amidst explosive fights and unexpected enemies. With a creative team behind hits like "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" and "Attack on Titan," the film promises plenty of action and excitement.

Rounding out the animated offerings is "Tom and Jerry: A Time Adventure," releasing in over 300 cinemas across Spain to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the iconic duo created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. In this new adventure, written and directed by Zhang Gang, the world's most famous cat and mouse get caught up in a wild chase through time after discovering a magical artifact in the Metropolitan Museum of New York that transports them to a golden city inspired by ancient China.
