Granadilla City Council has acquired shares in Titsa, paving the way for its own local bus service with five new urban routes expected to be operational by mid-2026.

Granadilla City Council has now bought shares in Titsa. This is a big step that will allow the town to set up its own local bus service, greatly improving how people get around.

Mayor José Domingo Regalado called the purchase "a very important achievement," noting it came after four years of dedicated planning and effort.

By mid-2026, Granadilla will have five new urban bus routes (401, 402, 403, 404, and 405) connecting its various districts.
