The first-ever Golden Rings Awards, organized by the Circle of Spanish Series Professionals to celebrate excellence in Spanish TV and film, will be held on June 20, 2026, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with registration for eligible series open until February 20.

The first-ever Golden Rings Awards will be held on June 20, 2026, at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Exhibition Center. These awards are organized by the Circle of Spanish Series Professionals.

Registration for the 23 awards opened this Tuesday. The Circle of Spanish Series Professionals stated that these awards aim to become a leading event in the Spanish TV and film industry.

There will be three finalists in each of the 23 categories. Key awards include Best Fiction Series, Best Non-Fiction Series, Best Comedy Series, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Adapted Screenplay, recognizing top-quality productions.

Acting talent will also be celebrated with awards like Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Supporting Performer, and Best Breakthrough Performer, honoring outstanding performances of the year.

Technical teams will also be recognized. Awards range from Best Executive Production and Best Production Management to crucial categories such as Best Casting, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Hairdressing, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Music, Best Editing, and Best Post-Production and Digital Resources.

The Golden Rings Awards also include categories that highlight international reach and industry support, such as Best Latin American Series, Best Film Commission or Film Office, and Best International Series.

Separately, the Promoting Committee of the Circle of Spanish Series Professionals will present an Honorary Award: the Special "Golden Rings" Award. This special recognition will go to professionals whose careers have made a lasting impact on the industry.

Production companies and platforms can register their series for the awards on the official website (premiosanillosdeoro.com) until February 20.

Eligible series must be Spanish productions or co-productions, filmed in Castilian Spanish or any of Spain's co-official languages. They must also have been broadcast on public, private television, or digital platforms.

After registration closes, members of the Circle of Spanish Series Professionals will vote for the winning projects in each category. Voting will take place from March 4 to April 24. The three finalists for each category will be announced in early May.
