GF Hoteles transformed Black Friday into "Blue Stay," donating 10,400 euros to La Granja Sensorial TEA in Tenerife to fund an inclusive playground for children with autism.

GF Hoteles, a hotel group that is part of Grupo Fedola, is donating over 10,000 euros to La Granja Sensorial TEA. This unique center in Tenerife focuses on including and supporting people with autism and their families. Instead of just participating in Black Friday, the company decided to go further and transform it into "Blue Stay," a charitable initiative that generated a positive social impact through its online bookings.

Under the slogan "We believe in tourism with purpose," GF Hoteles pledged 5% of all sales made on its website between November 28 and December 1. Thanks to a great response from customers, a total of 10,400 euros was raised. This money will create a new resource to improve the well-being of children with autism.

Sandra Herrera, Commercial and Marketing Director of GF Hoteles, commented, "The most beautiful thing about this initiative is that it came from something as simple as booking a holiday with us. Because of that, we can now support a project that truly changes lives and builds a better future." She added, "Helping this project aligns perfectly with our values and our responsibility as a company based in the Canary Islands."

Eduardo Reyes and Carolina Hernández, who founded La Granja Sensorial TEA, expressed their gratitude for the contribution. Eduardo said, "Our project grows step by step, so help like this gives us a huge boost." They also thanked all the customers whose bookings made this contribution possible. Carolina explained, "The money will go towards new sensory areas, specifically to build a children's module."

The funds raised will be used to construct a children's playground at La Granja Sensorial TEA, located in the municipality of San Miguel. The aim is to provide children with an inclusive, adapted, and completely safe play environment.

This new play area will feature a wooden playhouse made from Scots pine, along with tables and benches. These are all specially designed to encourage children to interact, be creative, and stimulate their senses. This new space will be a place where children can explore, learn, and enjoy happy moments with their families, helping them develop independence and social skills.

This initiative highlights GF Hoteles' dedication to "tourism with purpose," which means giving back to the community and improving society. The hotel chain plans to continue promoting charitable actions that make a real difference in the Canary Islands and help create a more inclusive society.
