On Wednesday, November 26, a GES rescue helicopter was involved in two separate operations on trails in Tenerife.
That afternoon, emergency services (112 Canarias) reported the rescue of two people in La Orotava, within Teide National Park. For this particular rescue, GES personnel worked alongside staff from the Park itself, the Red Cross, and the Civil Guard.
The second rescue occurred in San Miguel de Abona. A man had fallen from a path near La Centinela, making the GES intervention necessary. The injured man was then taken to a hospital by a Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) ambulance after suffering chest trauma.
