In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, an Audi driver was caught on video committing a series of serious traffic violations, which could result in a large fine or even imprisonment.

In the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the driver of a black Audi did something that left everyone speechless! What seemed like a normal exit from a parking lot turned into a real show of traffic violations. A random witness filmed the whole thing, and now the police are investigating.

The footage, which instantly went viral on social media, shows the car reversing out of the parking lot with no visibility. It then crosses a solid line without even stopping, occupies two lanes at once, and runs a red light. And all this in less than a minute! Some think it's just blatant arrogance, but for the police, it's a serious matter that could lead to criminal charges.

What's most striking is not any single violation, but the sheer number of them. Each one could result in a hefty fine, and together they could cost the driver dearly.

What punishment awaits the offender?

Reversing onto a road when you can't see anything, and crossing several lanes at the same time, is prohibited! You can only do this when there is simply no other option. The Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT) considers this a serious violation, punishable by a fine of 200 euros and a loss of 3 points from your driving license.

And he also crossed a solid line, which is completely taboo! This line means that you cannot enter the oncoming lane under any circumstances. Especially when you're reversing. This also carries a fine of 200 euros and a loss of points.

But the most dangerous thing is running a red light. The DGT says that this endangers not only other drivers but also pedestrians. This violation is punishable by a fine of 200 euros and a loss of 4 points.

But that's not all. For such a series of violations, the driver may be charged with dangerous driving, under Article 380 of the Criminal Code. This article applies when a driver has "disregarded" the lives of others and created a real threat on the road.

If it is proven that the driver of the black Audi committed this crime, the consequences will be very serious: from 6 months to 2 years in prison and disqualification from driving for a period of 1 to 6 years. And if he also caused an accident or did it intentionally, he could face up to 5 years in prison and up to 10 years without the right to drive.
