Four individuals are facing criminal charges after the Civil Guard arrested them for a robbery and property damage at the Drago Park facilities in Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife.

Security in Tenerife’s public and tourist areas is back in the spotlight following a recent police operation in Icod de los Vinos. The Civil Guard has reported that four people are now facing court charges for a robbery at the Drago Park facilities.

The incident occurred during the night shift, when police were alerted to an intrusion at the park. Officers arrived quickly and arrested two suspects on the scene. Further investigation and a follow-up search led to the identification and capture of the remaining two individuals.

The thieves stole over 200 euros in cash, which police have since recovered. However, the incident also caused significant property damage; the group forced their way into the building and violently broke into the vending machines to steal the money.

Under the Spanish Penal Code, these types of crimes—which involve trespassing and intentional damage to property—can carry harsher penalties when force is used. The investigation is ongoing, and further police action is possible as the case moves through the judicial system.
