Fog Diverts Flights at Tenerife North Airport
Fog near Tenerife North Airport rerouted two flights, one from Madrid to Tenerife South and another from Gran Canaria back to its origin.
Bad weather, specifically fog, around Tenerife North Airport in La Laguna has caused two flights to be rerouted this Saturday.
According to Aena sources, a flight from Madrid was diverted to Tenerife South Airport. Another flight, which originated in Gran Canaria, had to return to that island.
The fog near the airport made it unsafe for the planes to land, forcing them to change course.
