On the TF-47 highway near Callao Salvaje in Adeje, two cars collided, resulting in injuries of varying severity to five people, who were hospitalized.

On Sunday evening, September 7, two cars collided near Callao Salvaje in the municipality of Adeje, on the TF-47 highway. As a result, five people sustained injuries of varying severity.

The accident occurred at 9:03 PM. One of the cars overturned, which complicated the work of rescuers.

The Canary Islands Government Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES) 112 received a report and immediately dispatched all necessary services to the scene. The Canary Emergency Service (SUC) sent a resuscitation vehicle and two ambulances. Firefighters from Tenerife, the Civil Guard, and the road service also assisted.

All five victims received first aid at the scene. Among them was a 27-year-old woman with a moderate head injury, who was taken to the Quirón Salud Costa Adeje Hospital. Another 25-year-old woman sustained a moderate chest injury and was transported by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Hospiten Sur. Also, a 25-year-old girl sustained minor bruises and was also taken to the Quirón Hospital. In addition, a 27-year-old man and another man of unknown age sustained minor arm injuries. Both were taken to the Hospital Universitario Hospiten Sur.

Firefighters helped secure the damaged cars to make it easier for medics to work. The Civil Guard regulated traffic, as the accident caused a major traffic jam on the TF-47. And the road service removed debris from the road to restore normal traffic flow.
