
The 11th Fish Market will be held in Arona: culinary show and tribute to fishermen
The 11th Fish Fair will be held in Los Cristianos, featuring a cooking show by a Michelin-starred chef and a tribute to local fishermen.
The XI Fish Fair, a real celebration for all those who love the sea and fishing, will take place in the town of Los Cristianos, in La Pescadora Square and near the Old Pier!
The organizers from the Arona City Council promise an interesting program for the whole family. This is a great opportunity to honor fishermen, recall the history of fishing in Arona, and learn more about the work of the Brotherhood of Fishermen of Our Lady of Las Mercedes.
The fair will start at 5:00 p.m. in La Pescadora Square. An exhibition "Fish Fair 2025", master classes for children from the PFAE-GJ program, as well as live music from the bands "Índice y Medio" and "Los Majuelos" await you. At 8:30 p.m., there will be a solemn honoring of local fishermen.
And at the Old Pier from 7:00 p.m., the famous Michelin-starred chef Diego Schattenhofer, together with local fishermen, will present a culinary show. You will be able to see how traditional seafood dishes are prepared, and at 9:00 p.m. - taste them.
The Mayor of Arona, Fátima Lemes Reverón, says that this fair is not just a celebration, but also an opportunity to pay tribute to generations of people who have lived from the sea. She is proud that Arona preserves its traditions and supports fishing.
