FIMUCITÉ Celebrates 20th Anniversary With John Williams Tribute and Ticket Giveaway

The Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ) is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special tribute to legendary composer John Williams. To mark the occasion, the Diario de Avisos Foundation is giving away tickets to the event, which will be held at the Auditorio de Tenerife from July 16 to 19, 2026.

The festival program features three main events:

• July 16: A chamber music performance showcasing the work of John Williams.
• July 17: The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Eímear Noone, will perform the score of Star Wars: A New Hope live alongside a screening of the film.
• July 19: The 20th-anniversary gala, conducted by Diego Navarro and featuring the Tenerife Film Choir and guest soloists, will perform a selection of Oscar-winning film scores.

How to enter the ticket giveaway Adult residents of Spain can enter to win a pair of tickets by filling out the registration form on the Diario de Avisos website between July 9 and 14. Employees of the newspaper’s publishing companies are not eligible to participate.

Winners will be selected at random on July 14 at 10:30 a.m. (local time). If a winner cannot be reached within eight hours, an alternate will be chosen.

• Winners must verify their identity at the Auditorio de Tenerife box office.
• Tickets must be collected at least one hour before the performance begins, or they may be released.
• By entering, participants agree to the event’s terms and conditions, including the use of their name for promotional purposes on the newspaper’s platforms.
