Film Production to Cause Traffic Disruptions in Santa Cruz de Tenerife This Friday
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will experience traffic disruptions and intermittent road closures on the Rambla de Santa Cruz this Friday, May 29, due to a scheduled film production.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will face traffic disruptions this Friday, May 29, as the city hosts a film production. Local authorities are managing the event to balance the city’s growing popularity as a filming location with the need to keep traffic moving for residents.
The filming will take place on the Rambla de Santa Cruz between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. During this time, traffic heading uphill between Pedro Pérez Díaz and Pintor José Aguiar streets will face brief stops of up to five minutes.
To ensure safety, there will also be permanent restrictions during the shoot. Drivers will not be able to make their usual turns at the roundabout near San Isidro Street, or at the intersections with San Fernando and Arquitectos Saavedra y Díaz-Llanos streets.
Local police will be on-site to direct traffic and manage alternative routes. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and follow the instructions of officers and staff in the area throughout the afternoon.
