Fernando Estévez Art School Christmas Market Benefits Animal Rescue
The Fernando Estévez School of Art and Design hosts its popular Christmas market, showcasing unique student art from over 50 artists and featuring a charity stall benefiting Rescate Animal Valkiria.
The Fernando Estévez School of Art and Design is once again holding its popular Christmas market, which transforms its assembly hall every December.
Visitors can browse stalls filled with unique items made by the students themselves. It's a festive place to find illustrations, stickers, accessories, costume jewelry, and ornaments, all while enjoying a spirit of Christmas giving.
Andrew Castellano, a second-year Illustration student and part of the organizing committee, describes the market as an "opportunity for students to sell their own art, with Christmas inspiring it all."
He explains that this year, "more than 50 artists are taking part, selling their creations to the public over three very special days." He stresses that "anyone can come and shop" and enjoy this school's Christmas tradition.
The market will also feature a special charity stall with art donated by the participating artists. All money raised from these sales will go to Rescate Animal Valkiria. This non-profit group has been finding homes on the Island for abandoned or at-risk animals since 2020, and they also work to raise awareness and educate people about animal welfare.
The market runs next Wednesday and Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
