Femete and Qontrata have partnered to offer expert advice and discounts to nearly 1,400 Femete member companies in Tenerife, helping them secure more government contracts and boost competitiveness.

The Provincial Federation of Metal and New Technologies Companies of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Femete) and the company Qontrata have signed an agreement to help small and medium-sized industrial businesses in Tenerife secure more government contracts. The partnership will offer these companies expert advice and financial benefits for accessing Qontrata's services.

The agreement was signed by Femete's president, Juan Antonio Jiménez Arranz, and Qontrata's administrator, Alejandro Pérez Rodríguez. It will give nearly 1,400 Femete member companies, which employ over 12,000 workers, a 10% discount on professional consulting for public procurement. Through this collaboration, Qontrata will provide its specialized technical and strategic advice on public tenders to Femete companies. This is crucial for businesses, especially those in metal and new technologies, to expand their activities and become more competitive.

Femete's president highlighted that the agreement "strengthens our federation's commitment to helping our companies become more competitive. It provides them with special tools to find new business opportunities in government contracts, which is a complex but very promising market."

Qontrata's administrator added that "our partnership with Femete allows us to make government contracts more accessible to companies in the metal and new technologies sector. We help them understand the procedures, reduce risks, and improve their chances of winning bids."

With this initiative, Femete continues to build strategic partnerships that add value for its member companies, supporting their growth, professional development, and access to new markets. The agreement will initially last for one year, with an option to extend it.
