Fedola Family Run to Boost Costa Adeje Charities
The fourth annual Fedola Family Run in Costa Adeje on October 25th will feature races for all ages and abilities, raising money for three local charities.
Costa Adeje will be buzzing with sports and community spirit on October 25th as it hosts the fourth annual Fedola Family Run. This race has become a highlight of the year!
Organized by Grupo Fedola, the event is all about family and inclusivity. There's something for everyone, from serious runners to those who just want to walk and support a good cause.
Víctor Sanabria from Canaryrun described the course as a mix of road and sand, with some challenging hills that make it both tough and enjoyable for runners. The Ocean Cross race will be the main event, alongside fun runs for families and kids. It's a day for everyone to join in!
The Fedola Family Run includes 5k and 10k races, as well as events for children, families, and even babies. Expect a lively atmosphere with live music, workshops, entertainment, and free food for all participants.
Victoria López, president of Grupo Fedola, said that the run "represents what we stand for as a company: a big family working together for important values like community support, sustainability, and getting involved."
Ana Belén López mentioned that all the money raised will be donated to three local charities: Fundación Canaria Familia Quesada Sánchez, Asociación de Reinserción Social Anchieta, and Asociación de Asistencia Nahia. She also encouraged people who can't race to donate through a special "solidarity bib," adding that "every little bit helps when it comes to supporting those in need."
