FC Barcelona’s Pedri Builds Multi-Million Euro Real Estate and Business Empire
FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri González is diversifying his wealth through a sophisticated business network, investing millions in real estate projects and various commercial sectors to secure his long-term financial future.
It is becoming standard practice for elite footballers to diversify their wealth, and FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri González is a prime example of this trend. According to commercial registry records reported by Empresia, the young star has built a sophisticated business network to secure his financial future well before the midpoint of his career.
At the heart of his strategy is Pedrineta S.L., a company launched in Barcelona in February 2023. With over €4.2 million in share capital, the firm focuses on real estate and financial asset management. Through this company, Pedri recently purchased the four-star Hotel Villa de Barajas near Madrid’s airport for an estimated €4.2 million—a strategic move likely influenced by the area's potential growth ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 street circuit.
Pedri is also investing in his roots. In his hometown of Tegueste, he has spent nearly €2.5 million to acquire a former convent. He plans to transform the 9,500-square-meter property into a rural hotel. Additionally, he is developing a private home in Castelldefels on a large 3,700-square-meter plot, which is expected to be completed by 2028.
His business interests extend far beyond real estate. He holds stakes in a variety of sectors, including agriculture, vehicle management, pastry production, interior design, and travel, operating through companies such as Pedova, Noalma Henko, Pegolo Nou Cards, Obradors Grupo Rocio, Gonpago, Graffiti Revolution, and Agencia de Viajes Solar.
This expansion is backed by a secure financial foundation. Following a contract renewal in January 2025, Pedri is set to remain with FC Barcelona until the summer of 2030. While his exact salary is private, market estimates place his annual earnings at €12.5 million, supplemented by lucrative partnerships with brands like Adidas, Decathlon, Plátano de Canarias, Biotech USA, OK Mobility, and Skillset.
Pedri’s approach reflects a growing trend among top athletes: using professional corporate structures to turn their current earnings into long-term, tangible assets.
