Fasnia has announced a tender for the reconstruction of the area near the CEO Guajara school, with the aim of creating a safe and comfortable space for students from birth to 16 years old.

In the town of Fasnia, it was decided to renovate the area near the CEO Guajara school to make it more convenient and safer for children. A tender for this project was announced yesterday.

This is a good addition to the recent opening of a kindergarten in Las Eras. Now the two institutions have been merged, and CEO Guajara has become the only school in Tenerife where you can study for free from birth to 16 years.

They plan to do everything in five months. Two important areas will be redeveloped: the schoolyard and Pablo Ruiz Picasso Street, which is near the entrance.

A covered entrance will be built in the yard so that children can hide from the sun or rain. Instead of the old steps, convenient ramps will be built. And they will also create a "forest walk", preserving most of the pine trees that grow there.

On Pablo Ruiz Picasso Street, opposite the school, they will make sure that cars do not drive during the times when children come to and leave school. Metal gates will be installed, a pedestrian zone will be created, a small playground will be built, and a large picture will be painted on the wall of the sports center. Road signs will also be improved and a new ramp to the sports center will be built.

The mayor of Fasnia, Luis Javier González, said that this is a very important project. "The school has doubled in size, and there is not enough space. We want them to have a place to relax with a playground, as well as a safe entrance and exit from the school," he explained.
