In the Canary Islands in October 2025, a free sports fair, ExpoDeca, will take place, bringing together athletes, organizations, and sports fans, offering a variety of activities and entertainment areas.

The Canary Islands are preparing for a major sporting event, the ExpoDeca 2025 fair. It will be held from October 2nd to 5th at the exhibition complex. This was announced by Poli Suárez, Councilor for Education, Sports and Physical Activity, and Lope Afonso, Vice President of Cabildo de Tenerife.

The fair will bring together athletes, organizations, and everyone involved in sports. There will be many interesting things for visitors: sports areas, entertainment, and many activities. Admission to the fair is free.

Poli Suárez emphasized that ExpoDeca is not just a fair, but an indicator of the strength of Canarian sports, which unites everyone for the health and well-being of people.

Lope Afonso added that Cabildo de Tenerife has made great efforts to showcase the island's sporting potential. Sports facilities, events and programs that encourage a healthy lifestyle will be presented here. ExpoDeca is a meeting place, an exchange of experience and inspiration for the development of sports in the region.

Various conferences, lectures and presentations will take place at the fair. Experts in sports, health, education and business will share their knowledge. These interesting conversations and forums are supported by Fundación DISA, which promotes a healthy lifestyle in the Canary Islands.

Among the speakers will be well-known journalists Olga Viza and Paloma del Río, as well as doctor Antonio Ramos Gordillo, a specialist in sports medicine. They will talk about the challenges facing the sports industry.

Alejandro Navarro, Chairman of the Sports Commission of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities, José Hidalgo, Chairman of the Spanish Sports Association, and representatives of various regions of Spain will also participate in the fair.

Special attention at ExpoDeca will be paid to traditional sports of the Canary Islands. Grupo Ybarra is the official partner of this zone. Visitors will be able to see demonstrations and participate in sports such as Canarian wrestling, bowling, shepherd's jumps and others. This will help to promote these sports and emphasize their importance for the culture of the islands.

The fair will have many activities for children and young people aged 3 to 20. These include master classes, sports games, obstacle courses and functional training. A free playroom with instructors who will organize sports games and master classes will be available for children aged 5 to 10. This will make visiting the fair convenient for the whole family.
