
Endesa Renews €1.2M Renewable Energy Contract for Tenerife Auditorium
Endesa has renewed its 1.2 million euro contract to supply 100% renewable electricity at a fixed price to the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín for one year, extendable up to 36 months.
Endesa has renewed its contract to supply electricity to the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The contract is valued at 1.2 million euros, not including the Canary Islands' local tax (IGIC). It also guarantees a fixed price for the electricity. The agreement specifies that 100% of the energy supplied will be from certified renewable sources or high-efficiency cogeneration.
This contract is for one year, beginning February 1st, and can be extended twice, for a maximum total of 36 months.
The Auditorio de Tenerife is a leading venue for live performances in the Canary Islands. Opened in 2003, the venue is known for its avant-garde architecture by Santiago Calatrava. It hosts the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and Ópera de Tenerife seasons, along with a top-tier music and dance program. The Auditorio also runs its own educational and social programs and manages various projects for the Culture and Education Department of the Cabildo de Tenerife (Tenerife Island Council).
