Elderly Driver Dies After Truck Overturns on LP-3
A man in his 60s has died after his truck overturned on the LP-3 road near El Paso, with emergency services unable to save him after he was freed from the wreckage.
A man, believed to be around 60 years old, has died after a truck overturned on Wednesday. The incident occurred on the LP-3 road, near the exit of the tunnel leading to Santa Cruz de La Palma, in El Paso.
The emergency services received a call at 12:13 PM reporting the overturned truck with someone trapped inside. Medical teams, firefighters, local police, and the Civil Guard were quickly sent to the scene.
Firefighters successfully freed the driver, but sadly, medical staff confirmed that his injuries were fatal.
Police are now investigating the cause of the accident and preparing their reports. The road was partially closed while emergency crews worked.
