The free XVI Taco Suena Rock Fest kicks off in La Laguna with performances by Leize, Doctor Yao, V.I.D.A, and others, featuring charitable support and an area for people with disabilities.
Today, Saturday, starting at 6:00 PM in La Laguna, a cool music fest kicks off – the XVI Taco Suena Rock Fest! It's not just a concert, but also a great opportunity to hang out with friends and meet new people. Admission is absolutely free!
As Dailos González, the councilor for celebrations, said, this fest has already become one of the most important rock events in the Canary Islands. Legendary bands like Obús, Saratoga, Hamlet, and Sôber have performed on the stage in Taco, and there is always room for local talent.
This year, Leize (one of the most famous rock bands in Spain), Tenerife's Doctor Yao, Argentinians V.I.D.A, as well as Apache, Heisenberg, Rockrose, and Underground Kombustible will be rocking the festival.
Iván Bonilla, the director of the festival, thanked the local association of San Jerónimo de Taco for organizing the celebrations and this festival, which, according to him, "is one of the few that has survived in this format." He also emphasized that the music will be very diverse and international. All this will take place in El Polvorín de Taco Park.
The host of the festival will be Soledad Fernández. A special area will be set up near the stage for people with disabilities so that everyone can enjoy the music without obstacles. Also, at the XVI Taco Suena Rock Fest, there will be a stand where you can support the charities La cuevita de Los Ortega and Alí Méntalos Animales. Dailos González urged everyone to bring food, blankets, toys, and other necessities to help these organizations.
