Residents and business owners in El Sauzal, Tenerife, have been without power for over eleven hours. The local council reports that the outage was caused by maintenance work on the electrical grid that was supposed to finish mid-afternoon but has faced significant delays.

The affected area includes Calvario, La Cruz, Nazareno, La Piedad, La Ermita, Trece y Medio, and Tosas streets, as well as Callejón el Calvario and the paths of Salto del Gato and Santa Catalina.
