El Sauzal Hosts 16th Gospeliando Gospel Workshops
The 16th edition of Gospeliando, a series of gospel music workshops and a "Gospel & Movies" concert, will take place in El Sauzal from November 14-16, featuring vocal experts and a free final performance.
Gospeliando, a series of gospel music workshops, is holding its sixteenth event in El Sauzal from November 14 to 16. These workshops are designed for everyone, no matter their singing experience or technical skills. Teachers like Flora Sicot and Rachel Ratsizafy will be on hand to share top vocal techniques, helping participants get the most out of their voice. Carlos Pedrós will also lead a workshop called "Game, Presence, and Poise."
The event was announced on Thursday by Mayor Mariano Pérez. He was joined by Gustavo Campos and Joana Álvarez from Gospel Shine Voices, along with actor Carlos Pedrós, who is part of the Abubukaka humor theater company.
The workshops will be held at the El Sauzal Cultural Center, starting Friday the 14th at 4:30 PM and running until Sunday. A final performance will take place at San Pedro Church at 12:30 PM. Entry to the performance is free until all seats are taken.
Before the workshops conclude, on Saturday, November 15th, at 8:00 PM, the El Sauzal Theater will host the "Gospel & Movies" concert. This special event is perfect for all gospel fans. Gustavo Campos will direct the show, featuring a powerful band and singers Flora Sicot and Rachel Ratsizafy. The concert celebrates Black music and its influence on cinema.
Tickets can be bought at the El Sauzal Theater offices or at the box office just before the show. Tickets cost 12 euros. A reduced price of 9 euros is available for students, people under 25 or over 65, and El Sauzal residents.
