El Rosario has launched essential water infrastructure upgrades on Laurel Street in Tabaiba Media to ensure network reliability before beginning a new municipal paving project.
El Rosario is beginning essential infrastructure work in the Tabaiba Media area to ensure the long-term sustainability of local services. The City Council has started a project on Laurel Street to upgrade the drinking water network before the road is repaved.
This project is part of the town’s third Municipal Paving Plan and is designed to manage public funds efficiently. By replacing roughly 700 meters of piping and updating 29 private connections now, the council aims to avoid digging up the new road later for repairs, which would be both costly and damaging to the pavement.
Mayor Escolástico Gil emphasized that the primary goal is to improve the reliability and performance of the area’s water supply. While the council has asked residents for patience regarding traffic and parking disruptions during construction, they noted that this work is a necessary step to ensure the new road surface lasts as long as possible.
