The Tenerife municipality of El Rosario has once again set the standard for administrative management in the Canary Islands. According to the latest data from the regional government’s Transparency Commissioner, the local council has been awarded a perfect score in its 2025 assessment, confirming full compliance with all regional transparency regulations.

This achievement is not a one-off success; it marks five consecutive years of excellence for the council. The audit, which reviewed 414 public entities across the Canary Islands, placed El Rosario well above the regional public sector average of 8.87 and the municipal average of 8.71.
