El Médano Water Supply Affected by Burst Pipe
A water pipe burst accidentally during private building work in El Médano's La Trinchera area, causing temporary water supply cuts in several streets with repairs expected within two hours.
Granadilla de Abona City Council announced on Tuesday that a water pipe had burst in the La Trinchera area of El Médano. The break happened accidentally during private building work.
The council said this means water supply is affected in several streets in the coastal town, specifically Chasna Street, La Gaviota Street, and Mercedes de Roja promenade. Residents in these areas might experience temporary water cuts.
The water company is already on site fixing the problem. The City Council expects water to be back on in about two hours.
The City Council apologised for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience while repairs are made.
