The EÓLICA International Renewable Energy Festival returns to Tenerife on October 16–17, 2026, featuring a diverse musical lineup and sustainability-focused programming at the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies.
Sustainability-focused festivals are becoming a major trend in Spain’s cultural scene. The EÓLICA International Renewable Energy Festival has officially announced its return to the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies (ITER) in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife, on October 16 and 17, 2026.
This event, which first launched in 2003, is known for blending entertainment with scientific education and environmental advocacy. As the first festival in Spain to win the Greener Festival Award, EÓLICA offers more than just music; the program includes workshops and hands-on technological experiences set within a hub for energy research.
The initial lineup features a diverse mix of international electronic acts, including Jayda G, Danilo Plessow, Horse Meat Disco, Dee Diggs, Victor Ruiz, TSHA, Eris Drew, Biggi Veira, Octo Octa, Rainer Trüby, and Vive La Fête. The festival is also expanding its musical range with national artists like Xoel López, Shego, and Funambulista. Rounding out the first wave of announcements are Eric Boelle, Frankawara, Javier Carballo, Discolate Crew, Fernanda Arrau, Gaspar & Elena, Paurro, Bliss b2b Irtap, Lady W. Morales, Vandala, Dj Luuh, Ari (Muse), and Mostany.
The festival is made possible through a public-private partnership involving the Tenerife Island Council, the Government of the Canary Islands, the Granadilla de Abona City Council, the ITER, the Port Authority, and various private sponsors. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, the 29th, at 12:00 PM local time via official channels. Further additions to the lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
