Don Omar Announces 2027 Gran Canaria Concert as Part of World Tour
Puerto Rican star Don Omar has announced a July 24, 2027, concert in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as part of his "The Last King World Tour," with pre-registration for tickets now open.
The Canary Islands continue to cement their status as a major destination for international tours, with Don Omar officially announcing a stop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for his 2027 European tour. The Puerto Rican star confirmed the news on his social media, adding the city to his The Last King World Tour itinerary.
The concert is set for July 24, 2027, at the Gran Canaria Stadium Annex. This date is part of a massive global tour that includes stops in major cities like Berlin, Lisbon, London, Paris, and Milan, as well as a wide-ranging tour across mainland Spain, including Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia, and Galicia. The Gran Canaria show will take place just two days after his performance at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, following the tour's kickoff in Zurich on June 24.
Fans can sign up for pre-registration now, with advance ticket sales opening on Wednesday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m. local time. Organizers have not yet released ticket prices or specific show details.
This announcement comes shortly after Don Omar’s successful performance at the Cook Music Fest in Tenerife, which marked his return to the island after more than 20 years. Choosing Gran Canaria for this tour highlights how the Canary Islands have become a key market for live entertainment, successfully attracting top-tier artists who previously focused only on major mainland cities.
The concert will feature a career-spanning setlist, showcasing the hits that helped Don Omar popularize urban music in the early 2000s. Backed by high-end production, the event further strengthens the islands' reputation as a premier destination on the international touring circuit.
